Bhakti

Bhakti, which literally means love, devotion, and connection to the divine, is one of the five main paths of yoga. It focuses on cultivating a loving relationship with the divine and surrendering to higher guidance.

Singing mantras together, known as kirtan, plays a significant role in this practice. Participants join in singing the mantra melody after it is initially sung by one person. The emphasis is not on singing perfectly, but rather on singing with devotion and joy. This collective practice fosters a powerful and inspiring sense of unity, calming the mind and opening the heart naturally.

Described as the simplest way to connect with oneself and one’s divine essence, this form of yoga encourages a deep spiritual connection.
